David’s work is process-led and seeks to explore the effects and influence of time. Through the process of layering over extended periods, the work evolves from conscious to unconscious mark-making, and begins to build a narrative.
The subject matter varies and David’s work explores themes such as history and lineage, heritage and the Irish landscape.
Born in Wicklow, David lives and works in Kerry.
